Lincoln Ladies suffered their first ever defeat to Bristol Academy following a disappointing display at Ashby Avenue in the Women's Super League.
The Lady Imps made the perfect start when Precious Hamilton slid the ball home in only the second minute.
But Bristol rallied superbly before half-time with Jess Fishlock, Natasha Harding and Nikki Watts making it 3-1.
The visitors then comfortably held on in the second half to secure the three points.
