Gridlock for drivers as lights fail again

There was confusion among drivers yesterday as they tried to negotiate the Morrison's Tritton Road junction in Lincoln when then traffic lights failed.

Traffic lights along a major road into Lincoln have failed four times in the past six weeks, the Echo can reveal.

The lights at both the Morrisons and Skellingthorpe Road junctions in Tritton Road have each failed twice since mid-December.=
