You've bin given community cash
A RURAL community east of Gainsborough will be one of four villages to receive new gritbins from their county councillor.
Hemswell Cliff Parish Council has been given £250 to buy a bin – for use over the winter months.
The money came from the Councillor Big Society Fund, created from a two-year pay freeze voted for by all 77 elected members of the county authority.
Each elected member can donate up to £2,000 a year to local causes.

Ward member Councillor Lewis Strange said: "Most of the villages which I represent are on hills and were affected by heavy snow and ice during severe winter weather last winter.
"The provision of additional grit bins will enable people to help keep roads and paths clear during bad weather – and especially private roads that are not part of the highways network."
