AN INNOVATIVE new company which has created 20 new jobs in Gainsborough completed its first job this week.
A team from Galatia installed a new kitchen in an Acis Group rented property in Acacia Avenue in the uphill area of the town on Monday.

FIRST DAY: The Galatia team ready to install a new kitchen in a rented Gainsborough Acis property.
Galatia is a joint venture company created by the housing association's new link-up with national repairs and maintenance firm Willmott Dixon Partnerships.
The limited liability partnership has been given responsibility for all planned maintenance and improvements work, gas inspections, repairs and voids maintenance to Acis properties.

And it could even be a trail-blazing pioneer for future models if housing providers decide to start outsourcing their maintenance schemes.
Adrian Southwick is the client manager for joint venture operations at Acis.
The company now has 3,500 properties for rent in three counties – Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire.
"The first job carried out by Galatia – an Acis Willmott Dixon Partnership represents a milestone in the company's short history," he said.
"This is just the start of a long-term partnership, with both Acis and Willmott Dixon Partnerships bringing a range of expertise that will be crucial in ensuring we deliver a high-quality service."
