And it could even be a trail-blazing pioneer for future models if housing providers decide to start outsourcing their maintenance schemes.

Adrian Southwick is the client manager for joint venture operations at Acis.

The company now has 3,500 properties for rent in three counties – Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire.

"The first job carried out by Galatia – an Acis Willmott Dixon Partnership represents a milestone in the company's short history," he said.

"This is just the start of a long-term partnership, with both Acis and Willmott Dixon Partnerships bringing a range of expertise that will be crucial in ensuring we deliver a high-quality service."
